PARLAY is Atlanta's premier dining choice to Share, Savor, and Sip. PARLAY offers food services via a food truck, traditional catering stations, as well as concession stands. When guests experience PARLAY, it's like going to a friend's house that always pulls out all of the stops to make sure that the visit is special. Our menu is made w/LOVE, filled w/Comfort, and glazed w/Sanctified Soul! We serve THE best Soul Food, Sea Food, and Snack Food in the A!
Parlay's Executive Officer
Latrice Rochelle was born and raised in North Philadelphia. She is the proud daughter of restauranteurs, Denise and Charles Wade, who have owned and operated Charlie's Country Ribs, a neighborhood staple in Philadelphia, for 30+ years. Cooking and entertaining are deeply rooted in her DNA, so it was a natural progression for her to return to her roots after taking on the world. Latrice Rochelle has a B.A. degree in Economics and Management & Organization from Spelman College. Post-graduation, she began her professional career as a Management Consultant for one of the top 4 Consulting firms in the world. In 2006, she established her own technology consulting firm, and has experienced tremendous success in the tech space managing multi-million-dollar software implementations and teams. On a milestone birthday in 2019, Latrice Rochelle decided to take a leap of faith and live on purpose, with purpose, and give birth to a restaurant concept that she had been cultivating for years prior. PARLAY Savory Saloon is a true labor of love that was officially formed in the 3rd quarter of 2019.
Parlay's Executive Chef
Chef Xavier John was born in Bowman, SC. He is the proud son of Reverend John and Shirley Frederick. He attended Bowman public schools and graduated valedictorian of his HS class. Xavier John has a B.A. degree in Finance from Morehouse College, an MSA in Administration from Central Michigan University, and an MDiv from Luther Rice University. Post-graduation, Xavier John began his professional career as an accountant with General Motors, one of the world's largest automotive companies. He worked for over 18 years in the Financial Quality and Production arenas. After leaving, he moved to Atlanta to pursue his culinary passions, only to have it postponed by accepting an assignment as a Plant Manager. After much prayer, consideration, and confirmation, Xavier John decided to pursue his culinary passions full-time and joined the PARLAY team as the Executive Chef.
